Scott is a commercially aware practitioner who aims to get to know and understand his clients’ business and needs. Commercial realities and legal advice do not always fit “hand-in-glove” however, the commercial realities of a legal problem should always be a factor when considering options. He has a wide-ranging practice with a broad mix of clients both locally and internationally in addition to considerable experience in acting for employers, contractors, consultants and funders. Scott is recognised as a seasoned disputes practitioner and has considerable experience with all means of Dispute Resolution in the UAE.
Omar Al Heloo
Legal Counsel - Hadef and Partners
Omar acts as UAE local counsel in domestic and international litigation and arbitration, including working closely with Hadef & Partners’ Engineering & Construction team representing and acting for various construction industry members. He has vast experience in advising corporates and individuals on business fraud-related matters and white-collar crimes both domestically and internationally. Omar frequently delivers mandatory and accredited legal training sessions as part of the Dubai Legal Affairs Department’s CLPD programme. He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Society of Construction Law (SCL) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) of which he is the national representative in the UAE.
